Hi!
I was Grendel Valthanor back in Shadowbane Beta and Retail. I joined CoS proper, but never one of the sub-guilds. I remember a good deal of you guys (Zorak, Shaden, Cervantes, etc.) and I hope you remember me. I'm interested in finding a guild for World of Warcraft and I'd really love to stick with a guild I already know to be friendly, mature, and truely wonderful.
I no longer have a shadowbane account, but I'd love to join CQ in order to have a guild to join when WoW comes out. Thanks for taking time to try to remember me and I hope you accept me back into the fold as WoW gets close to release.
Thanks.
At this time I am not to sure that CQ will ever play WoW as a guild....the core guild most immerged in that I think is Endless Stand. CQ and PRX are deeply in Lineage 2 atm, it's great =)

I'll check with them but also keep an eye on CQ to see what happens.

Ok, that'll be fun. Especially after the AP tests when I'll have all sorts of free time.

I hate the AP tests. Are you taking the computer science one by any chance?

Standardized testing is fun. In that "I know exactly what to expect from this test, so I could predict my grade with 90% certainty before I even take it" sort of way.
Then again, once you see some of the exams you'll be getting in college, AP's and the like won't seem so bad.

I got a 5 on the comp sci test back when I took it 4 years ago. Haha! It was my only 5 in fact.

i got a 1 on the AP calc test. but that's cuz i showed up and put my name on it, put complete bullshit down for every question, then slept for the next three hours. the school forced me to take it, so i did. i only paid $7 to sleep in school for three hours. the school paid like $80. guess who won?

heh. I actually was annoyed by the A.P. U.S. one last year. We got the easiest DBQ(about FDR's economic policies in depression), one our teacher had repeated as a joke that we'd never get(we all laughed when we opened the booklet). But i unfortunately finished ~50-55 minutes early, and couldn't leave. It was understandable, and luckily i had a book, but i was pretty bored. Unfortunately our guy that's overseeing the exams is a total hardass and we were told not to bring books(lol). So when i finish my exams like 2 hrs early this time i'll get to stare at a cardboard wall. w00t.

Oh, cervantes, did you get to use the, "i'm so tired now after testing, it was stressful, blah blah blah" excuse to get off the rest of the day? :)

that wouldn't have worked at my high school. my calc teacher ripped me a new one during that class later in the day.

lol, oh well. In a way i don't see how they can blame you too much, if they knew you weren't interested, they shouldn't have let you take it, or should've made up some cheese excuse to make it so you couldn't take it.
My favorite "AP" story was with regards to the Statistics exam. I took it the first year the College Board offered it - I had only taken a 3-week stats course independently over the summer, and skimmed a review book a little. I ended up finishing the exam in 40 minutes and getting a 5. Though at the time I came out of there thinking "It couldn't have been THAT easy, could it?". Then I had to sit there and wait. It sucked.
Oh, and the AP Latin exam is hard. And by hard I mean it's probably the second-hardest test I've ever taken.
Edit: Oh, the "other" good AP story I have - after taking the Latin AP exam(I had to get up at 6AM for it, too), it was the same day as Tennis State Qualifiers(started pretty early, hence the odd time for taking the exam) - we were ready to go, but then it turned out they were cancelled because of weather. Of course, instead of going back, myself and a couple friends from the tennis team decided to...ahem.... take the day off. Of course, while we were out, we ran into... that's right, my mother.
Getting caught skipping by your parents is not a pleasant thing, let me tell you.

I'm taking English Language, Calc BC, US History, and Chemistry in the next two weeks. Anyways, can anyone give me some advice on making a character and leveling up quickly in the lineage beta?
If I'm to join you all in lineage, do you think you could give me access to your forumns?

how's BC calc? I have a 98 in advanced algebra trig and would like to take A.P. Calc BC, but was convinced not to by my teacher. What would you suggest?
And leveling fast in lineage2 seems to be impossible. Could use a bot i suppose.

Drop me a PM if you get in the guild in Lineage, I can set up your access here. Contact Elm in-game to hook up with them. Or any other CQ that are playing at the moment ::.

the point was we had to take them or we had to have parental permission to get out of them. my parents would have made me take them and then want to know what i got. so i just took it and didn't tell them i did, they never knew the difference. $7 was worth not having to care about that stupid test.

Well, just took the AP Computer Science AB Test this morning. It sucked...
That's all there is to it.
Suck suck suck. The free responses were pretty difficult and the multiple choice took a lonnggg time as most had to be worked out by hand, and that took awhile.
