Quick introduction or something like it

I'm just dropping a quick line to say hello (quick since I'm alt-tabbed out of L2 in the first place) and that I'm interested in joining CQ. While I'm pretty new to the MMO scene, it seems like joining a good guild makes the gaming more enjoyable. And at least according to Loraq's propaganda, CQ is a good guild. I've played on L2/Kain with a couple of the CQ members [Loraq, ShinLo and Tealeaf] as my dark elf [Zerenthil], and at least they gave me a good impression if the rest of the guild is anything like them. I took a break from playing my main character for a while, but ended up deciding that it would be more fun to play a group-compatible character in the long run. It is, after all, far more fun to laugh at idiots when other people are laughing with you. Not at you.

Umm.. yeah. I'm sure I'll post more later, but right now I want a smoke, something to drink, and go back to L2 before some whiny 12-year old troll who lives in their parents basement tries to PK me since I'm not paying attention to the screen.

My roommate already informed me that she'll have to rent it now so I can see it, since it's a "cult" movie in her opinion.

All I've seen referring to it is the t-shirts with the one fat kid holding up his shirt. That was disturbing. But, apparently I have to see it anyway. Maybe it won't be that bad.

I'll vouch for him...he's not a l33t ubergamer, but he definately knows his stuff. I'm not playing L2 myself anymore, but if he is I think he'd be a great asset to the team.

Yeah, too bad you quit. Getting PKed in EF was pretty fun, all in all. Even if you were playing a character who sounded like a girl. And wore a dress. :: Sometimes it was hard to tell apart if you or Tealeaf was getting hit.

Oh well. Maybe with the eventual release of the Next Best MMO (tm) I can group up with you guys and get killed again.

Oh, since I don't have access to the L2 forums on the board, I'll ask here. Thsoe of you who still play L2, where do you usually hunt? I don't think I've ever seen anybody with a CQ tag in the game, and I've pretty much run across most of the map a handful of times.

Okay, so I'm finally watching the Goonies (watching meaning it's on TV, and I'm doing stuff on the computer and occasionally looking at the tv for a few minutes)... and I haven't seen any truffles being shuffled yet.
