The Cadre team was one of the exceptionally rare guilds to weather the WoW raiding storm and stay together. CQ has been playing WoW since day 1, however long that has been, and the tag has remained intact. Not very many guilds can say that. We had many ups and downs, people came and went, but the CQ tag rolled on. Several members showed great leadership by stepping up and taking lead roles. We proudly entered WoW as CQ and we exit just as proudly, knowing that it's the right time to move on.

Congrats to all the players who kept it going for so long. It was a real show of great teamwork and resilience in the face of a game that is very pro-individual and anti-guild. I'm proud to say that even though the pressure to compromise our values was high, the leadership in WoW held true to the core principles of what makes us a great guild. That alone is one of the greatest accomplishments you could ask for in any game. It's what separates us from the fly-by-night-one-game guilds. To each and every member that chose to continue playing WoW under the CQ tag: thank you for holding on to our values in spite of some very difficult circumstances.

So what's in store for CQ? As we wait on the next great PvP MMO, several of us are playing Hellgate: London (http://www.hellgatelondon.com).

I also expect us to be active in the next phase of Warhammer (http://www.warhammeronline.com) Beta, whenever that starts.

We're also watching Age of Conan (http://www.ageofconan.com) and hoping for a guild beta invite there.

It's been a long time since we've had a true PvP MMO to conquer and I'm sure one is just around the corner.
