Cadre Quietus is an MMORPG gaming guild. We are a group of mature players who have been adventuring together in online games since 1999.

We'll be playing on the NA server starting at launch.
These are our long term goals for Darkfall:- Build and maintain an active player base of 50+ members (currently have ~25)
- Own a city or hamlet and a village
- Experience the high-level end game (sieging, warhulks, ships, wonders, etc.)
- Be adept at all phases of the game: pvp, pve, crafting, diplomacy
- Carry out our motto - We Shall Be Heard - make a name for ourselves in DF

We have spent the last few months on the Euro server for Darkfall. Our intention has always been to treat the Euro server release as our beta test. We wanted to figure out if the game was any good and how to best play it.
As I reported earlier, the game is a keeper. The sandbox environment has been a lot of fun, providing endless, and sometimes downright exhausting pvp campaigns. We had some really nice siege battles. The crafting means something, since gear is always in demand.... [Read More]

In one of the most epic battles to date, the Cadre and our brothers from PRX helped our alliance, Stasis, to finally secure a home. After weeks of struggling against zergs, server issues, and morale problems, the strong survived and loyalty to a cause finally earned a win.

After six weeks of play, we have good news to report. So you don't have to keep reading I'll say right up front, Darkfall is a keeper. Unless some unforeseen development occurs, the game is on track to be the most fun MMO since UO. It's UO, AC1 Darktide, and SB, all wrapped up and on steroids.
Is the game perfect? Nope. Does it needs tweaks and balances in several aspects? Yes. But it's fun. A lot of fun.
